Winter is very much alive on the lakes with nearby skiing, ice skating on the lakes, and area trails for snowmobiling, cross country, or snow shoeing. Once spring has sprung the season comes alive with bike rides, nature hikes, and early evening campfires thet beckon the return of another Maine summer.
